Soccer or Football as known Europe and South America and Basketball both are sports that played at high schools and colleges in U.S.A. The physical body contact is a part of these two games. The similar points of both of them are not too much.Football soccer and basketball games are very interesting, good for the body, and health, but they are also so different. I am going to show you some differences between soccer and basketball games. The first difference is related to the parts of the body that are involved in the game. In basketball you can touch the ball with the hands.In football, the ball is played by fumbling, while in basketball, the ball is played by bouncing the ball up and down on the floor repeatedly in an action known as dribbling.
Usually soccer is played outside on a large field and basketball is played indoor on a court made out of wood. Basketball is played with 5 players and soccer has 11.A basketball team has 5 players. A soccer team, on the other hand, has eleven. Thus it is only natural that a soccer field is larger than a basketball court. The third difference is in the positions.
Soccer is played with 11 players on each team and each team wears a special sport dress (T- shirts, shorts, and socks). A soccer game is about 90 minutes long; the first half is 45 minutes long and the second half is 45 minutes long. In contrast, basketball is around two and a half hours divided into four quarters, each 12 minutes long.
